木材紋理中的減法，自然與力之美的謳歌。 石璞玉潤中雕琢出永恆，負陰而抱陽的禮讚 木質與石材是人類工藝發展史上，最早使用的自然素材，木材易於裁鋸、木紋質感溫 潤，石材則質地堅硬，具有獨特的紋理，兩者皆是適合雕刻的工藝材質。在此展區，我們 能看到工藝家運用精湛的工法、考慮木質與石材的材質特性，展現其美感與獨特世界觀， 如在作品中表現生命觀及生活感觸、哲思理念、宗教信仰、對自然的頌讚等。工藝家運用 匠心巧藝，賦予工藝材質新生命，對自然材質的選擇及應用，亦展現與自然和諧共生、永 續美感生活的頌讚。 The Carved Realms of Wood and Stone: A Sustainable Ode to Nature, Power, and Beauty Wood and stone are among the earliest natural materials used in the history of human craftsmanship. Wood, with its warmth and malleability, offers a soft yet intricate grain, while stone, with its resilience and distinct textures, carries an enduring strength. Both are ideal mediums for carving and have inspired generations of artisans. In this exhibition section, visitors will encounter works where craftsmen, through masterful techniques and a profound understanding of the materials, reveal the aesthetic and philosophical depth of wood and stone. These creations express reflections on life, intimate connections to daily existence, philosophical meditations, religious devotion, and reverence for nature. Through their meticulous craftsmanship, artisans breathe new life into these natural materials, transforming them into artistic expressions of harmony and sustainability.
