This exhibition aims at relating the history of the timber and the cultural life of human beings to their future prospect and challenge.
“The Vessel of Life” section will lead the audience to understand wood’s original faces. When we are familiar with the forest, we can learn the multiplicity of lumbers, also, gain the inspiration from nature timber materials.
“The Way of Living” section begins with the knowledge of materials and creative works; it tells us the marriage of the wood craftsmanship and the materials that eventually create the beauty of living. Finally,
“The Path of Livelihood,” the last section focusing on the conversation between inheritance and creativity, will demonstrate how the creativity or a design of a woodcrafts work is shaped, how many consideration for the sustainability of the industry has been explored, and how we try to discover new possibilities for the development of wood crafts industry through philosophical viewpoints.
