Bamboo products were in widespread use in the early days, and the industry reached its prime befort being replaced by plastics. As the bamboo utensils and crafts are mostly part of our memory, we see a jump cut when awareness of sustainable use rises and bamboo has great potential as a green building material of the 21st century.

The gathering of family and friends for tea is in fact a common realization of the tea culture in Taiwan. The process is casual and relaxed but none the less meticulous because the way of tea is an art, in which the tea, tea set and atmosphere reflect the mind via the tea master’s interpretation.
