This set of works includes Middle troops commander - Master General with Jian Tung and Yin Tung at its left and right hand sides respectively. The makeup and sculpture of Master General is all in one piece with integral General cap. Moreover, the chair and the base are all in one piece. The painting on the face is referred to the image of Beijing opera facial mask. It is enrobed in half civil and half military mode with armor inside and robe outside. Embroidered robe is worn on top and the armor worn inside is exposed on the right shoulder and right leg. Its right arm rises up with triangular commanding flag in five colors held in the hand. “MinguoRenwu (2002)” and “YangyuehDiaosu (sculptured in April)” are written on the two sides of the base and “2002 made by Shi Zhi-Hui” is carved on the back of the base. Yin Tung and Jian Tung represent the characteristics of civil and military respectively. Shi Zhi-Hui distinguishes them with the facial appearance and colors of makeup on the face. It is with delicate craftsmanship and reveals dignity and solemn.
