作者運用早年臺灣大甲東製作大水缸的工藝表現-土條盤築的手擠坯技法,形塑出具圓弧曲度的平衡簡練造形,猶如大漠荒原上的颯颯凜風,吹刮出的丘陵線條。高溫還原燒下,熟料砂使作品表面肌理赭紅粗獷,如陽光灑在沙脊,厚實灼熱,映現出向背間的明暗虛實。 The author adopts the coiling technique, which was popular in Tai-kah-tang, Taiwan in the past when making huge water vats, and makes simple form with curving lines to create desert landscape. Under reduction firing, adding clinker sand would create rough and ocherous red texture on the surface of the work, forming contrast between light and shadow. |
