Looking to the Future
Taiwan Craft Culture Park
Crafts are the symbols of a particular culture, while artisans are the progenitors of culture. With these principles in mind, the National Taiwan Craft Research Institute works to promote crafts and nurture craft workers. In recent years, we have focused on introducing Taiwan's crafts all over the world. Toward this end, we have been working to create legal frameworks, train skilled individuals, encourage regional cooperation, and develop new markets. Thanks to this, traditional handicrafts have now found their place in our knowledge-based economy. A 21st-century renaissance for Taiwan's crafts is at hand!
